Your Perfect Pokémon Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Zodiac Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement across the community. Starting with the gradual reveal of newcomers ahead of the title's release, to players developing strong opinions on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to anticipate.

Given many of the Super Forms showcasing distinctive designs that emphasize their personalities, one idea naturally: How can connect this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a blend of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was almost selected for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being fun, light-hearted, and spontaneous. This makes the Ram much more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely erupts when angered. Remain on the good side of either and benefit from a powerful partner; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Similar to a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, both in its regular and Super Form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the creature and a Taurus are also Fighting types, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed passion for snacks. Several previous Pokédex entries note their fondness for sweet tree sap and how it uses its horn to hoard it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute queen. You cannot tell me this creature is not the soul of every party, offering an constant fountain of chatter to those who wish to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's very simple to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to predict an opponent's next moves, which seems quite similar to a socially-savvy Gemini.

Cancer – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol famous for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. It is also recognized for its capability to make a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was going to select Pyroar for the king of the zodiac? Besides the reality that it would be much too on the nose, Leo is clearly Super Starmie, the diva whose legs just became an internet sensation for being too fabulous (or horrifying, based on your preference). Players were captivated from the violet sea star, and that’s precisely the same energy a Leo offers to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be broadcasting radio waves from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being endearingly critical is clearly mirrored across this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a always surprised face like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s just like the emoji a Virgo posts to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than creating a plan.

Libra – Mega Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic being, who uses the sensors on its ears to tell how others are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. However, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Abandoned as a toy, it gained consciousness through pure resentment and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a performance. As a Archer myself, the amount of times I’ve called myself some version of a “silly little jester” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to foresee calamities in advance? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often always believe they’re correct. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the ground floor of the Mega trend.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof air sign Water Bearer is possibly the non-fire placement that is closest to a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being unpredictable partners in crime. Super Chandelure's double Spirit/Flame typing fits perfectly with this, and the Mega’s general daunting aura is also very Water Bearer. If you weren’t already convinced, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “draws in negative energy and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
